What is a porcelain laminate?

A porcelain veneer, or vinyl, is a thin, metal-free ceramic plate bonded to the outer surface of a tooth. This corrects the shape and colour of the tooth and can close gaps between the teeth. Porcelain restorations look very natural and require little grinding. Previously only available to Hollywood stars, today it is one of the most popular cosmetic dentistry procedures. Using the CEREC 3D system, a top-quality porcelain restoration or veneer can be fabricated in one visit.
