What are the methods of teeth whitening?

Teeth whitening can be done at home or in the doctor’s chair. At home – the client whitens his/her own teeth (usually takes 10 -14 days). There are various strips and special varnishes available for home teeth whitening, but the most effective home whitening method is kapos. Individual moulds are made for the client according to the shape of their teeth, caps are placed in which a special material is placed, and then, after they have been placed on the teeth, they are to be kept on for a few hours (according to the doctor’s instructions) for at least 10 days. Throughout the whitening period, the teeth are hypersensitive and staining foods, coffee, tea, red wine and smoking should be avoided. In the dentist’s chair, a higher concentration of gel is used for whitening and the result is extremely fast. To enhance the effect, lasers and special lamps can be used. In this way, the effect of the gel is stronger and the results are better. Usually a single treatment is sufficient, followed by one day of tooth sensitivity, and for the same period of time staining foods and drinks should be avoided. Both are good and effective, but cap bleaching requires more effort and patience, while a single visit to the dentist’s office is all it takes. However, it is about twice as expensive as home whitening.
