Gingival recession treatment

Gingival (gum) recession – is gum recession away from the tooth crown, often with denudation of tooth cervix or roots. The tooth looks elongated and is sensitive. Recessions must be covered to avoid the decay and tooth sensitivity. Recessions may be covered by utilizing a free flap technique or using synthetic bone substitutes.
