The world is in a period of tremendous change. Our lives are being altered in ways that, up to now, we never thought possible. It is no different in dentistry. A revolution is taking place unlike any we have ever seen before. We know that now - in this remarkable era in which we live - millions of teeth that would have been extensively repaired can be left in their natural healthy state.

So, if the mirror tells you that your smile could be improved, please give us the opportunity to evaluate for you the possibilities. With this cosmetic approach we are now able to create a beautiful smile through advanced technology and by using new materials and techniques. A beautiful smile will, of course, enhance personal appearance, as well as improve self confidence. This fact has been well proven by psychologists. If, indeed, you decide to have a nicer smile, this would certainly be a plus for any self-improvement program.

High quality dental work - a safe investment.

You are well advised to have high requirements towards your dental work. Since it needs to provide the same service as your own teeth:

To appear natural and beautiful.

To be biologically compatible.

To be tough, strong of consistency.

To fit well with your natural teeth.

Thanks to advanced materials and technologies, we are able to offer you a variety of upscale solutions for this dental restorations: cosmetic bondings, cosmetic porcelain restorations made from different ceramic materials with CEREC CAD/CAM system.

COSMETIC BONDINGS
(direct restorations):

Rapidly improving materials in dentistry are causing the emergence of this new field. By making cosmetic bondings, damaged oral tissue (decay, old fillings) is literally restored in the mouth and it is also possible to correct the form, colour, and position of the teeth.

A natural tooth consists of several layers distinguished by colour, transparency, and hardness. A tooth is restored in the dentist's chair by repeating all the layers with the accuracy of a jeweller so that a magnificent esthetic image is obtained. The tooth's form is precisely recreated, which is important for both aesthetics and proper functioning. This is a method that preserves as much of the dental tissue as possible since only damaged tissue, which destroys the aesthetic image, is removed.

During the Bonding procedures a special rubberdam is used to prevent teeth from moisture in the mouth and to get better bonding of filling material to the tooth. Mild etching solution is temporarily applied to the teeth in order to create what we call micropores - very tiny crevices in the enamel structure. These micropores allow us to use a strong, durable resin to bond lifelike materials to the teeth. After the micropores are created, the resin is placed on the tooth and a bright, intense light is used to lock the resins onto the tooth surface. Each layer is hardened in minutes. After the last coat has been applied, the bonded material is shaped and polished. The resin comes in many shades so that we can match it to your natural teeth. The results have been tremendous and the reduced cost factor has certainly been a blessing for those interested in a more pleasing smile. The dental 'jewellers' working at our clinic will do everything so that your restored teeth will appear magnificent and serve long and well.

COSMETIC PORCELAIN RESTORATIONS (indirect restorations) :

With the improvement of prosthetic materials, the possibility of creating perfect, aesthetic teeth has recently appeared. Metal-free ceramic prostheses, which are incomparably more aesthetic than the previously used metal-ceramic ones, are used in the area of the front and back teeth. Most Hollywood stars have them :)

Old metal containig crowns look dull and fake. New porcelain crowns
let the natural light shine through to look like natural teeth!

We recomend to replace old metal fillings, crowns and bridges with metal-free restorations. There's a huge difference between metal fillings and new porcelain restorations that reflect the translucence of natural teeth. Metal-free crowns, inlays and bridges don't show wear or cause opposing teeth to erode, and fitting the crown or bridge is a breeze. Teeth function in one of the most inhospitable environments in the human body. They are subject to larger temperature variations than most other parts, coping with the cold of ice (0 C) through to hot coffee and soups. They also encounter pH changes in the range 0.5 to 8. Add to this the stresses associated with chewing. The modern materials being used for restorations have qualities that are very close to the qualities of a natural tooth: both aesthetic (colour and transparency) and physical-chemical (strength, wear resistance, and reaction to temperature changes).

According to the defect being corrected, a prosthesis can be:
1. ceramic veneers for front teeth;
2. crowns can be used for any tooth. We make metal-free restorations in our clinic at the most of cases;
3. ceramic and composite inlays, onlays, partial crowns for molars;

Old amalgam replaced with porcelain onlay

4. bridges when one or more teeth are missing (usually implants are better alternative);
5. removable prostheses, i.e. plates and arch-supported prostheses used where there are large defects in the dental arch.

Strong, Beautiful Teeth - with CEREC

CEREC is the latest innovation in ceramic cosmetic dentistry. It uses a sophisticated combination of high-tech precision machinery and computer technology to produce custom restorations that include veneers, inlays, onlays, 3/4 crowns and full crowns. It is also used in dental lab to produce the most durable crowns or bridges from zyrconium oxyde or aliuminium oxyde

Why CEREC?

Protects and preserves your own tooth's structural integrity.

Ceramics are bio-compatible.

Only one appointment.

Prefect looks.

Perfect comfort.

Perfect quality.

Long lasting and durable.

Unquestionably the most cost-effective restoration we have available today.

"Repairing" Teeth can be extremely complicated with various impressions and temporary fillings taking considerable time. Now this can simply be achieved in just one visit, and in about one hour.

How does the CEREC computer restoration system work?

After your tooth is prepared, it is scanned with an electronic camera that allows you to see the image on a video screen. The restoration is designed form this scan and then automatically milled out from a solid ceramic block. This is accomplished so precisely that it can be accurately fitted and durably bonded to the prepared cavity.

CEREC restorations are made from ceramic - a natural substance that is particularly compatible with the body. The CEREC ceramic has the same characteristics as normal, healthy dental enamel (the hardest of all materials in the human body). This means it is similarly hard wearing - for example when undergoing the daily grinding of food. Nor is it affected by hot or cold - coffee or ice-cream.

Furthermore the ceramic is so smooth that bacteria do not stand a chance.

And one will not experience a strange metallic taste or suffer effects from electric currents, which can be created when two different metals are located in neighboring teeth.

We always conserve as much of the original dental material as possible. The CEREC method is ideal for this procedure. A CEREC restoration, bonded firmly and durably, gives your teeth great stability. This means that we can frequently dispense with the need to have a full crown. This has been proven time and time again in restorations all over the world.
